- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions and drain it.
- In a large pot, melt the cream cheese over medium heat and gradually stir in the milk until the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and continue to mix until it’s fully melted and creamy.
- Add the shredded chicken, honey, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything until well combined.
- Gently fold in the cooked macaroni until it’s thoroughly coated in the cheese sauce.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For optimal freshness, store in an airtight container and consume within 3-4 days. Can freeze individual portions. Reheat gently, adding a splash of milk if needed.
