- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix well, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

- In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter and sprinkle this mixture over the top of the casserole.
- Finish by topping it with the remaining shredded cheese.

- Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
