Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 pound Chicken breasts (boneless, skinless) Can substitute with chicken thighs for juicier texture.
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs Whisked.
  • Oil For frying Ensure oil is hot enough for frying.
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Orange juice Freshly squeezed if possible.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Minced.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Whisk together the eggs in a bowl.
  2. Combine cornstarch and flour in a separate bowl.
  3. Dip the chicken pieces into the egg mixture, followed by the flour mixture, ensuring they're fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In a separate saucepan, combine the orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and ginger. Cook until the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Toss the fried chicken in the prepared sauce until well coated.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately with rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken before frying for added flavor. Serve with rice and vegetables, and consider garnishing with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
