  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, 1/4 cup of ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Spread the remaining ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For the best results, use a baking dish that allows the meatloaf to sit elevated to let excess fat drain. Feel free to add your favorite herbs or spices for enhanced flavors.
