Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Ground beef
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Catsup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup Milk
For the Glaze
  • Additional ketchup and brown sugar Mix these together if desired, to spread over the meatloaf.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, eggs, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and milk.
  3. Mix the ingredients until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. For the glaze, mix additional ketchup and brown sugar if desired, and spread it over the meatloaf during the last 15 minutes of baking.
  3. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with classic sides like mashed potatoes and green beans, or use in sandwiches for a delicious lunch option. Adjust cooking time for ground turkey or other variations.
