  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Can use plain or seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped Chop finely for even distribution.
  • 1/2 cup milk Acts as a binder for the mixture.
  • 2 pcs eggs Bind the meatloaf together.
  • 1/4 cup ketchup Adds moisture and flavor.
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Enhances umami flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping) Use additional ketchup for a glaze.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Spread the additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Let it sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding grated cheese or finely chopped vegetables like bell peppers. You can also experiment with different toppings such as barbecue sauce.
