Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 7 1/2 cups Bread flour
  • 2 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Parsley (dried)
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 3 cups Water Warm
  • 4 tbsp Active yeast (dry)
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 2 Eggs Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Mashed potato flakes (optional) Can enhance texture
Cheese
  • 1 cup Colby jack cheese
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix the warm water, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it’s frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the bread flour, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and salt.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture, along with oil and eggs, into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for approximately 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. If you’re using mashed potato flakes, add them now, along with the cheeses, and knead until everything is well incorporated.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions, depending on whether you want loaves or rolls.
  3. Shape the dough into desired forms and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Allow the shaped dough to rise again for about 30 minutes.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

To keep your bread fresh, allow it to cool completely before wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Store it at room temperature for up to 3 days. Freeze for up to 3 months for longer storage. Experiment with different cheeses or herbs for customization.
