Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground hamburger Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1 head Leafy romaine lettuce, chopped Can substitute with mixed greens.
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, diced Cherry tomatoes can also be used.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use your preferred cheese variety.
  • to taste Pickles (optional) Add for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup Special sauce Mix of mayonnaise and ketchup.
  • to taste Hamburger seasoning Or simply salt and pepper.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by heating a skillet over medium heat and adding the ground hamburger.
  2. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare your fresh toppings by chopping the lettuce and dicing the tomatoes, then set them aside.
  4. Once the hamburger is cooked, season it with seasoning to taste.
Assembly
  1. To assemble, start with a base of chopped lettuce in each bowl.
  2. Add a generous scoop of cooked hamburger.
  3. Top with diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and pickles if using.
  4. Drizzle the special sauce over the top for that classic burger flavor.

Notes

Serve each burger bowl individually for a fun presentation and consider pairing it with crispy sweet potato fries or a refreshing salad. Leftover ingredients can be stored in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. The cooked hamburger can be frozen for several months.
