  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic once the butter is melted and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Slowly add the heavy cream to the pan, stirring continuously.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken for about 5 minutes.
  5. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, adjusting according to your taste.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg while simmering the cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove.
