Preparation
- Scoop rounds of your favorite ice cream into balls and place them on a tray. Freeze until solid.
- In a separate bowl, crush the corn flakes and Nilla wafers together until you achieve a fine mixture.
Cooking
- Roll each frozen ice cream ball in the crushed mixture until coated.
- Preheat oil in a deep pot until hot. Fry the coated ice cream balls for a few seconds until golden brown.
- Remove the balls from the oil and drain them on paper towels.
Serving
- Serve immediately with drizzles of chocolate, caramel, and strawberry syrup. Top with whipped cream and a cherry.
Notes
For a fun dessert experience, set up a toppings bar for guests to choose their toppings. Store extras in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a couple of days. Warm slight variations, like different cereals for coating or flavored ice cream, can enhance the experience.
