  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup cream cheese Ensure it's at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Add-ins and Topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Use your choice of chocolate chips.
  • to taste Sea salt for topping

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and egg, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Gently blend in the cream cheese and salted caramel sauce until smooth.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring an even distribution.
  8. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle lightly with sea salt.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  2. Let them cool before serving.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Dough can be frozen for up to three months.
