Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Tenders
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup buttermilk Can substitute with regular milk mixed with a tablespoon of vinegar.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying Enough to cover the bottom of the pan.
For Cane's Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by marinating the chicken strips in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Dredge each marinated chicken strip in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring they’re well-coated.
  2. Fry the chicken strips for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt; mix until smooth.
Serving
  1. Serve your crispy chicken tenders alongside the Cane's Sauce for dipping.
