Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
For assembling
  • 1 pkg wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, green onions, and garlic powder until smooth.
  2. Lay out the wonton wrappers and place about a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each.
  3. Moisten the edges with water, fold over to create a triangle, and press the edges to seal tightly.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C), ensuring it’s hot enough for frying.
  2. Fry the rangoons in batches for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  3. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot for the best taste and texture.

Notes

Serve with dipping sauces like sweet and sour or spicy chili sauce. Perfect for parties or gatherings.
