Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions, using the eggs, water, and oil. Mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, prepare the vanilla cake mix in the same way.
Baking
- To create the zebra pattern, pour a spoonful of chocolate batter into the center of each cake pan, followed by a spoonful of vanilla batter on top. Repeat until both batters are used up.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cakes to cool completely.
Assembly
- To assemble, level the cakes if necessary, and spread a layer of vanilla frosting on top of one cake. Place the second cake on top and frost the top and sides with chocolate frosting.
- In a small bowl, combine the vanilla frosting and cocoa powder to create a chocolate drizzle. Drizzle on top of the cakes in a zigzag pattern.

Notes
Serve with fresh fruit or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an added touch. Store in an airtight container for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week.
