Main Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb Ground beef, lean You can substitute with ground turkey for a leaner option.
  • 1 cup Iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 plum tomato, diced
  • 1 tbsp Taco seasoning
  • 8 large Flour tortillas Use whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas as substitutes.
  • 4 Tostadas
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded You can swap this for pepper jack for added spice.
  • 1/2 cup Nacho cheese sauce or queso, jarred
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, spray with cooking spray and add the ground beef.
  2. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning.
Assembling the Crunchwrap
  1. Lay a large flour tortilla on a flat surface.
  2. Place a tostada in the center and layer with cooked beef, lettuce, diced tomato, cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce, and a dollop of sour cream.
  3. Fold the edges of the tortilla over the filling to create a wrap.
Cooking the Crunchwrap
  1. In the same skillet, place the Crunchwrap seam-side down.
  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  4. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a more enjoyable experience, serve with homemade salsa or guacamole. Customize with toppings like sliced jalapeƱos or additional cheese. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
