- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion and green bell pepper together until they soften and release their flavors.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, sautéed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, eggs, Dijon mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, crushed Ritz crackers, and whole milk until everything is well combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until it’s fully cooked through.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
To keep leftovers fresh, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Freeze in slices wrapped in plastic wrap for longer storage. Consider adding different herbs or toppings for creative twists.
