Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 2 lbs Flank steak
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 medium Yellow or red onion
  • 1 7 oz can Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 0.5 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 cup Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the garlic cloves, garlic powder, onion, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, black pepper, paprika, salt, olive oil, and cumin. Blend until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  2. Place the flank steak in a dish and pour the marinade over it, making sure it’s fully coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your preferred level of doneness.
  2. Once grilled, remove the steak from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it against the grain.
Serving
  1. Serve it with your favorite sides or in tacos for a delightful meal.

Notes

Marinate the steak longer for more flavor. Let the steak rest after grilling for juicy results. Slice against the grain for tender bites.
