Ingredients

For the donuts
  • 1 can Biscuits, refrigerated Any refrigerator biscuit can work.
  • 1/3 cup Sugar For coating the donuts.
  • as needed cup Oil for frying Ensure the oil is at the right temperature.

Method

Preparation and Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Open the can of biscuits and separate them.
  3. Use a small round cutter to cut a hole in the center of each biscuit to form a donut shape.
  4. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the biscuits in the oil, cooking a few at a time without overcrowding.
  5. Fry until they are golden brown, about 1-2 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove the donuts from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
  7. While they are still warm, roll them in sugar until well coated.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store the donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or freeze them for longer storage. Reheat in the microwave for a fresh taste.
