  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 pcs green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced bell peppers and carrots, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Toss in the bean sprouts and cooked noodles, mixing well.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

Consider garnishing with fresh herbs or sesame seeds. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
