  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar, packed light
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk Can substitute with regular milk or non-dairy milk
Cream Cheese Drizzle Ingredients
  • 4 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your waffle iron.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add in the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Gently combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed—be careful not to overmix.
Cooking
  1. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook according to your iron's specific instructions.
  2. To prepare the cream cheese drizzle, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Serve the warm waffles drizzled generously with the cream cheese mixture.

Notes

For a fun twist, add chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits like raisins. Top with caramel sauce or whipped cream for indulgence. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for longer storage.
