  • 4 oz chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage, bean sprouts, and sliced carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
  5. Stir in the cooked chow mein noodles and add the soy sauce.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, tossing until everything is well combined and heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Chow Mein!

Notes

For added flavor, consider garnishing with sesame seeds or a dash of hot sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in a pan with a splash of soy sauce to retain texture.
