- In a blender, combine the chipotle peppers, olive oil, honey, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and shake to coat the chicken evenly.
- Refrigerate the chicken for at least one hour or ideally overnight for best flavor.
Cooking
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, discarding any excess marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Consider marinating overnight for more flavor. For a smoky taste, add smoked paprika to the marinade. Always allow chicken to rest after grilling for juiciness.
