Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground beef Use lean ground beef to reduce excess grease.
  • 1/2 cup Yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 16 ounce can Refried beans
  • 1/3 cup Tomato paste
  • 1/3 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 ounce packet Taco seasoning
  • 8 10-inch Flour tortillas
  • 3 cups Cheddar cheese Feel free to use your favorite type of cheese.
  • 1 cup Water

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onions over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the refried beans, tomato paste, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, and water. Mix well and simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Spoon a portion of the beef and bean mixture into each flour tortilla, then top with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  4. Roll up the tortillas tightly, placing them seam-side down in a baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes until the burritos are heated through and the cheese is melted.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy every cheesy bite!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Fully assembled burritos can be frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20-25 minutes until warmed through.
