Preparation
- Slice the chicken breast into thin strips.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Cooking
- Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Introduce the garlic, ginger, onions, and bell pepper; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Stir in the cabbage, carrots, and chicken broth, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Add the lo mein noodles, along with the hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until thoroughly combined.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
Notes
Feel free to swap out vegetables based on what you have on hand. Broccoli, snap peas, or bell peppers all work wonderfully in this dish. Best served in a large bowl topped with chopped green onions, and can be paired with spring rolls or dumplings.
