Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3 pieces Ripe bananas The riper, the better for flavor
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar Adds moisture and depth
  • 2 pieces Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Softened

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash your ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter; mix until well combined.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is creamy.
Mixing Dry Ingredients
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined, avoid over-mixing.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  2. Bake for about 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cooling
  1. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use overripe bananas, do not skip the sugars, and mix wisely to keep the bread light and fluffy. Variations include adding nuts or chocolate chips.
