  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Filling Ingredients
  • 2 cups Chopped apples (preferably a sweet variety like Fuji)
For Cooking

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add your wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Fold in the chopped apples gently.
  4. Spray your waffle iron with cooking spray and preheat according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Cooking
  1. Pour an adequate amount of batter onto the waffle iron (about halfway full), close the lid, and cook until golden brown, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  2. Continue this process until all the batter is used.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup or your favorite icing for added sweetness.
